‘Pillars Of Smoke’ (2012-)
‘Pillars Of Smoke’ (2012) is an open ended edit juxtaposing imagery rooted in the etymology of the word ‘Film’.
Every time that the video is presented to the public the sound is rerecorded in the gallery space and edited into the next version of the video. Consequently, the video carries a trace of the institutions that it has been exhibited in and over time, degrades.
The first version ‘Pillars of Smoke’(Blind Version) was presented at the event ‘(Screening)’ at Tannery Arts in London 2012 and the second version ‘Pillars of Smoke’ was presented as a part of the Exhibition ‘Notes on an Autobiography’ at Limoncello, London (2012).
